Work Schedule: M-F; Days, Evenings & Weekends; Per Visit
Responsibilities:
Certified Nurses Aide is a non-exempt, service position responsible for providing supportive care and skilled personal care to patients in their homes. Works under the general supervision of the Director or Nurse Manager. Also receives in-home supervision from RNs, LPNs, or other appropriate professionals as directed by the patient care plan. Assists in activities of daily living and other skilled personal care needs as directed by the plan of treatment. Provides consistently high quality of care in accordance with the plan of care and Agency policies. Maintains and enhances skills needed to provide quality care; attends classes within the Agency or externally as needed to update skills; completes a minimum of twelve in-service training hours annually. Communicates with primary caregiver verbally and in writing as needed regarding plan of care. Acts as a dependable caregiver to client and Agency, by meeting productivity expectations, completing and submitting required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner, and regularly communicating with the Agency scheduler regarding their caseload. Uses telephonic reporting system.
Minimum Qualifications: Previous CNA or student experience within the last year. Nurse Assistant/Nurse Aide experience in a nursing home, hospital, or other health facility will be considered. Completion of an approved educational program for Nurses Aides in the state of Colorado. Active Colorado CNA license and current CPR certification required.
