Description
Codi is an aged ex-barrel racing mare, around 15.1-15.2 hands. She has navicular and is not suitable as a riding horse, but would not make a good companion for a gelding. It seems nobody told her that she's old! She also needs to be fed alone or with a horse with similar feed needs (lots of grain, beet pulp, less hay). If you need a friend to make you laugh every day, Codi's the right choice. Come by and visit her. Codi needs a sponsor. Sponsorships are $20 one time and $10 monthly and include a photo, a personal letter from the sponsored horse, recognition in our newsletter, and more. Any of our horses may be sponsored, but companion horses are least likely to be adopted and therefore need it the most. If you aren't in a position to adopt, please consider sponsoring a rescued horse.
