Nelly is an aged Paint mare who has been bred a great deal in the past. She has a large 'broodmare belly' and swayed back, but seems sound and healthy. Her teeth are in excellent condition. She looks to be in her late teens from her teeth alone, but we think she is closer to her late twenties. Nelly is gentle to ride, but can be pushy on the ground. She would fit well with a family including an experienced adult to handle leading her and children to enjoy learning to ride on her broad, comfortable back. She has the smoothest trot you will ever have the pleasure of experiencing. Nelly is very out of shape right now, and will need to slowly build fitness for even light work.
