Hey there, I am Tahoe, a 2 year old Golden Retriever mix. I am absolutely gorgeous - everyone says that I am so I am not gloating! My hair was badly matted when I first came into the rescue so I had to have it all shaved off, which felt sooo good in the heat of the summer, but it has grown back just in time for the chilly fall weather! I weigh about 100 lbs, but I am just a big dog so there is no need to worry about putting me on a weight loss plan! I do enjoy going for walks and have been spending my time in rescue working with a trainer which means that you couldn't find a better behaved girl than me! I just want to be able to spend time with a family that is going to love and adore me, but it would be best for all of us if you didn't have another dog in the home. If you think I would be a good fit for you ask about me and we can chat! We require an application, phone interview and home visit prior to adoption. We will not discuss a specific dog with an applicant until the adoption process is completed. Our adoption fee for dogs under 9 months is $250, dogs between 9 months and 8 years is $195 and our super seniors are $175. Please visit our website for more information. Thank you!
