Great Dane - Extra Large - Young - Male - Dog - Shorty
Description
Hi, my name is Shorty and I am an 18 month old, Black, male Great Dane. I was found as a stray after my owners dumped me in the country. I was not socialized at all previously, so I am learning a lot in my foster home in regards to how to behave and interact with people and other dogs. I am house trained, crate trained, know how to use a dog door, and I know sit and come. I am learning how to walk on a leash, but I do pull and will need a Gentle Leader. My foster parents say that I am still a puppy with a short attention span, so I will need boundaries and guidance from my new humans. I am a very outgoing, friendly boy who loves to lean and get petted! I like to play with kongs and nylabones and I play hard with other dogs once I am familiar. I would probably be best in a home as the only dog though because I am very needy and I take a while to warm up to other dogs. I would love an active new family that goes for walks and likes to take their dog wherever they go!
