Napoleon is a striking, 6 year old, Red, Dogue de Bordeaux (French Mastiff) with a wrinkly face that makes your heart melt. He weighs around 100 lbs and was whisked away from a high kill shelter by his 'knight in shining armor', BDHPI, just in the nick of time! While he may look intimidating, this sweet boy is a great big baby who is afraid of storms. Napoleon is shy and fearful in new surroundings and will need a strong pack leader to make him feel safe and work on confidence building. He does great with other dogs and does take comfort in their companionship. His foster family is working on house training, crate training, and basic commands because he has had little training previously. Napoleon is desperate to please, very affectionate, and will make a loyal companion for the right forever family to help him flourish and come out of his shell!
