I was transferred to the MaxFund from another shelter, so not much is known about my background. I came in very skinny and with my kittens. They've all gone home, and now that I'm a little bigger I'd like to go home too. I'm pretty shy but am desperately interested in bonding with someone. I rub upon your leg but may shy away when you reach to pet me. I know I will stop doing that soon and will love attention even more. Maybe a quiet, patient person would be perfect for me. I have beautiful long hair and I like when you brush me. I have beautiful feminine energy, so brushing is like bonding with other females. Just let me warm up to you before you start. Then let's have some girl time. Unfortunately, although I am very feminine, I live in a room with almost all males. You see, I am FIV positive, and most FIV positive cats here are male. Please don't let FIV deter you. That just means I should be the only cat in the house, or I should live with other FIV cats. FIV is transmittable via penetrating bites, and most cats don't get in fights. So many people live with FIV and non-FIV cats. That's up to you. FIV cannot be transferred to humans or dogs, so don't worry about that. I can live with dogs and kids. I've been here since April 2006. I was only 10 months when I came here, and I really don't to live the rest of my life here. I think I've waited long enough. I hope you think so too. Please come see me and take me home. Don't you want to add a touch of feminine energy to your home? I hope so!
