Hi, I'm Callie, and I'm sweet as can be. You probably can't tell by looking at this photo, but I am precious and full of love. I don't make a lot of noise and am pretty mellow, so you may not notice me at first. But don't miss me or you'll be sorry. I was brought to the MaxFund, because I got sick and stopped eating. My person was unemployed and couldn't afford to pay for my medical care. I also had an abscessed tooth that she couldn't fix. So although it was hard on her, she felt it was best for me to find a new home. Of course, I am all healthy now thanks to MaxFund. So I'm ready to go home with you. Anyway, I love petting and affection. I love to play and chase bugs (though we don't have any bugs here at MaxFund, so that's no fun!). I am not super fond of being held, but I love human touch and bonding. My previous person said I am a wonderful kitty. The folks here at MaxFund agree. Although I have never lived with cats, dogs or kids, the volunteers here have seen me with kids and said I do fine. I'm pretty friendly and mellow, so I bet I'll fit perfectly with your house. Black cats like me tend to have a harder time getting adopted. I don't know why, but I hope luck turns my way and you come see me today! I can't wait to meet you.
