I'm Jax. Interesting name, huh? Well I was found as a stray in Denver, so who knows if Jax is my real name. I think it's a cool, interesting name...just like me. I'm a pretty cool and interesting guy. I am an independent guy. But I love affection. I sound like the perfect cat, don't I? After all, don't you want a cat who can be on his own but be affectionate too? I also love to play. After all, I am a cat, and I have some spunk and energy. So playing is wonderful. I also love to be loved. I will crawl right into your lap as if I belong there. I do belong there, don't I? I'm the perfect size for your lap. I can comfortably take up your whole lap and snuggle right in. Yep, I think I sound like the perfect cat for you! I have tested positive for FIV. So what does that mean for you? Not much. FIV is not transmittable to dogs or humans. I can only transmit to cats via a penetrating bite. So I am generally pretty safe around cats too. It means if you have no other cats, I am definitely the perfect guy for you. I can live a long, healthy life. I just shouldn't be with someone who smokes. So how about it? Will you please come rescue me? They try hard to make it nice for us here. But come on...it's a shelter! I don't want to stay here any longer and am hoping you will come rescue me today! Pretty please!
