Hi, my name is Dory. I also answer to Sweet Pea, Boo and Adoryboo. I was named after the blue fish in "Finding Nemo" because sometimes, when I open my mouth to talk, no sound comes comes out. I enjoy talking a bit in a sweet little voice as I wander through my home. I am a fun-loving cat, and my absolute favorite activity is playing with a section of soft rope with you. I am also quite fond of soft little sparkly balls I call "foofies" and love to chase them around and pretend I'm hunting. I spent some time on the streets when I was younger, but now I enjoy being kept safe inside, sleeping in a patch of sun or sitting in a window perch. I am about 5-7 years old; no one knows for sure because I was rescued just in time...I was nearly starving! The only reason I'm looking for a new family is because I need to be in a one-pet home with adults only, and the family who rescued me has another cat. He's a nice guy but for some reason I get really upset with him and other cats outside, so I'd be the perfect friend for you if I could be the only furry one in your abode. I like to be held for a little while each day and give hugs and kisses. I even know how to send special hugs with my beautiful jade and blue eyes...I'm very spiritual. I'll probably greet you at the door when you arrive home, and I enjoy being close to my family by snuggling on a blanket or in a nearby drawer while you're sleeping. I'm neat and clean and easy to care for, although my teeth do need cleaning once a year. My foster parents would be overjoyed to introduce me to you, so please contact them soon! Well the truth is, they will miss me a lot. But they want what's best for me, and that's for me to go to another home with no cats.
