The importance of gathering temple hair is that is is platted before being cut, whch leaves the cuticle intact and all the hair is facing in the same direction.


While other methods use techniques such as welding, waxing, glueing or knotting, whch strain and very often damage your hair to a high degree. Our hair is based on a much more gentle principle: modulating. They have created an extremely high-tech method of bonding between the strand and your own natural hair. Q. Will hair extensions damage my hair?

A. As long as the extensions are applied properly and proper care of them is taken there should be no damage.

Hair Extensions have been used for years.

*A lot of this depends on the clients care. If you are a very restless sleeper , damage can be caused because of the constant rubbing on pillows which can cause the hair to be pulled out. It is best to sleep with your hair in a braid or pony tail to help prevent this. Be gentle with your hair. Using the correct brush plus making sure your hair is kept tangle free is very important.

Extensions are not hard to take care of. You just have to be aware of them so you don’t catch them with a comb or your fingers.

Our Recommendations

-Run your fingers between your bonds every day to keep your extensions separated.

-Brush once a day with a hair extension brush.

-Don’t go to bed with wet hair.

-Hold your hair at the roots or base when combing. This will keep tension off of your own hair.

-Dry your bonds after washing and you can let the rest air dry. As long as you are gentle with your extensions they should last 3-5 months. Extensions are a lot of fun and they are not hard to take care of.

Q. What is the shortest hair can be to get extensions?

A. Minimum length for extensions is 5” long. This is especially important for top layers. We can do
extensions on hair as short as 3” long if you just can’t wait, but you will need extra extensions and it will be an extra expense to blend in all of the short hair so you don’t get a “mullet look”. So if you can wait for 5” it is best. Measure with a ruler, you may be surprised at how long your hair actually is.

Q. Can I still highlight and color my hair?
A. Yes, you can color and highlight your hair.

It is best to get it professionally done. Foil highlights/lowlights can be done on the top and sides where there are no extensions. The extensions work like the rest of your hair. A color retouch of your roots is done just like normal.
