We ar now seeking a strong .NET web developer for a salaried position in South Denver. This is NOT a contract or remote opportunity. Developing intranet/extranet web application using .NET in a Sharepoint environment. Works in conjunction with database architects, database administrators, data modelers and other developers to develop highly functional database driven web applications while implementing best practices and proven SDLC methodologies. Job Requirements Responsibilities · Complete product development lifecycle of ASP.Net applications, including participation in requirements gathering, application design, developing code, testing, deployment and maintenance. · Contribute to the design and implementation of long-term strategic goals and short-term tactical plans for managing and maintaining a Sharepoint portal and CMS environment. · Effectively interact with business, technology, and vendor team members · Maintain, support, debug, and enhance existing web applications. · Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate progress. · Write and maintain software documentation. Must Haves · Ability to demonstrate exceptional attention to detail while implementing best practice (SDLC) to develop web driven systems. · 3 - 5 years commercial experience in C#/ASP.Net development · Experience using Visual Studio and/or Sharepoint Designer to create a web application · Basic understanding of base .Net framework · Ability to connect .Net applications to a database (SQLServer/Oracle) · Ability to write basic SQL (T-SQL) · Ability to work well with a team · Portal design and implementation experience · Ability to work with and design CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) Pluses · Experience working with Active directory integration · Knowledge of Business Intelligence strategies and practices
