1982 Virago 750cc chopped and tuned... just over 13,000 miles on him...
I bought him not running. he had sat outside for a year and a half. Now he runs great, looks great, and has a clean title... I rebuilt the carbs and petcocks... redesigned the vacuum system... scrubbed and cleaned everything... replaced the starter and starter selinoid... took off the seat and replaced it with a 1 up seat... dropped the back end... raised the front end, replaced the lighting... stripped and clipped to take off about 60lbs... This is one light, agile, low, mean machine... No he's not perfect... he still needs a few things... He could use some touch up paint... a valve tune wouldn't hurt... and I didn't replace the virago starter gear... so he has that Virago starter sound... a new gear costs about 50 bucks and takes about an hour to replace (I wouldn't replace it personally, just because the sound doesn't bother me, and the gear still has easily 5 years left on it... So if you're looking for a great ride that turns heads wherever you go... this is the bike for you...
