However, true TCM includes acupuncture, the administration of Chinese herbs, Chinese massage and manipulation, and diet/lifestyle modifications to treat the whole person and re-establish balance.

Traditional Chinese Medicine has been practiced for more than 3,000 years. It is the oldest continuously practiced medicine in the world. Currently, one-fourth of the world's population is treated using TCM methods.

The Philosophy of Calm Spirit Acupuncture, Inc, holds that each individual has the opportunity to be an active participant in achieving optimal health. Health requires physical, mental and spiritual focus because optimal health is a state of well-being and balance on all levels. Mrs. Bennetts is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of Colorado. She completed 1,800 hours of training at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, graduating and receiving her certification in 1999.

Along with the more well known modalities of Oriental Medicine such as acupuncture, moxibustion, and herbal medicine, Mrs. Bennetts administers oriental handwork, offers nutritional counseling, meditation instruction, and education to all interested clients. Our Styles of Acupuncture are Traditional Chinese Acupuncture and Auricular Acupuncture. Our Treatment Techniques are Chinese Massage Therapy-Tuina, Acupressure, Moxibustion, Cupping, Qi Gong, Gua Sha, and Herbology.
