Energy Practice Director-Green jobs now.org The position can be based anywhere in the Western US, but ideally would be proximate to one of our current offices in Denver, Salt Lake City, Seattle, Portland, Sacramento, San Francisco, Irvine, or San Diego. Requirements: • Bachelors or Masters degree • At least 15 years of relevant professional experience (including 5 years of consulting) • Understanding of regional and national drivers and market trends of the energy industry • A demonstrated record of client stewardship and business development accomplishments. • Excellent oral and written communication skills and highly developed interpersonal and customer relationship management skills. • Productive working relationships and a favorable reputation within the energy community. • Experience managing and directing environmental services projects for energy clients. • Fluency with energy facility sighting and relevant regulatory processes in several western states. • Knowledgeable of Federal regulatory processes, including those of FERC, MMS, OSM, and NRC, as well as familiarity with renewable portfolio standards and tax incentives. • Experienced with the application and implementation of major Federal regulations such as NEPA and ESA.
